    Health Coordinator/Assistant to the CEO

    Joseph Mensah-Homiah is the Regional Health Coordinator and Assistant to the CEO.

    Joseph has been with the Millennium Promise/Millennium Villages Project since March 2008. Prior, he has been the Science Coordinator for Bonsaaso and later became the Team Leader/Science Coordinator.

    Joseph played a role in starting up the SADA MVP as the interim Team Leader. Joseph has also been in charge of Partnerships and Resource Mobilization for MP Ghana based in Accra, as well as he has been the National Scale Up Coordinator for the use of Misoprostol for postpartum haemorrhage. He was previously a faculty member of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, University for Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana for 10 years before joining the Millennium Villages Project. Joseph holds an MS/PhD in Nutrition from Cornell University, New York; a Post Graduate Diploma in Food and Nutrition from Wageningen University, the Netherlands; and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Food Science from the University of Ghana.
